Thruster pilot system
TP-50/TP-500 series
The system compensates for the effects of the current and wind to keep the bow in the set direction.
Applicable vessel
- Outboard
- Inboard
- Drive ship
- Inboard/outdrive
- Water jet
- The large-size LCD screen improves visibility of the indicated direction. The control unit is also lighter and more compact.
- The effects of the current and wind can be compensated for by the side thruster control to automatically keep the bow in the set direction.
- Our unique system links steering operation to thruster operation so that turning around in the set direction is quick and fast (only when installed with autopilot CD-50/CD-70 series).
- Direction signals from a GPS compass etc. can be received to enable consistent thruster auto control.
- Capable of providing output to the proportional solenoid valve and ON/OFF solenoid valve and operation in link with the lever control system.
- Standard equipped with a remote controller that allows turning around in either the left or right direction.
- Capable of sending direction signals in the form of NMEA sentences to any device that needs the direction signals.
- (Note 1) Hydraulic pumps for the thruster, proportional solenoid valve, hydraulic thruster main unit, and hydraulic selector valve are not supplied.
- (Note 2) A lever control system for remote control of the hydraulic selector valve is available separately.
